The new legislation is being drafted to change the Act on Notaries. Pursuant to the intended changes, if legal acts performed at notarial offices concern an assignment of a right upon payment of a price, remuneration or other receivables, the notary will have the obligation, and not as until now the right, to accept the appropriate amount as a deposit.

Currently the act is being consulted with the Justice and Human Rights Commission. After the commission finishes its works, the act will be discussed by the Sejm.
